Cairo, Egypt: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt, H.E. Aamir Shouket, met with officials from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) to discuss opportunities for strengthening bilateral investment and expanding economic cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt.
The meeting focused on enhancing trade and investment relations, encouraging greater engagement between the private sectors of both countries, and identifying new avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships. Both sides emphasized the importance of promoting business-to-business cooperation and creating a favorable environment for increased investment and commercial exchange.
Discussions also highlighted the significant economic potential of both countries and the importance of facilitating closer collaboration across a range of sectors. The two sides exchanged views on mechanisms to support investors, promote sustainable economic growth, and strengthen institutional cooperation.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening economic relations with Egypt and welcomed continued collaboration with GAFI to encourage investment, facilitate business partnerships, and explore new opportunities for long-term cooperation.
Both sides expressed confidence that stronger economic engagement would contribute to the shared prosperity of Pakistan and Egypt and agreed to maintain close coordination to advance their common objectives.
